PSV wants to take the next step in the Eredivisie
1 min readAt the start of this season, PSV decided to loan striker Jesper Uneken to provincial rival RKC Waalwijk. At the Waalwijk side, Uneken made a good impression, and partly as a result, the striker is being considered by several Dutch clubs.
With that news, the Eindhovens Dagblad is bringing it to the public. Supposedly, among others, ADO Den Haag, NAC Breda and Fortuna Sittard are interested in adding the PSV loanee to their squad.
NAC Breda however seems to be able to swoop in on Uneken since, according to the ED, the striker has targeted a move to a club from the Eredivisie. The team from Breda was relegated last season to the Keuken Kampioen Divisie and therefore appears to stand little chance in the race for the PSV striker, who may leave the club at the request of the club management.
''At PSV there is appreciation for the way Uneken has shown himself this season, but at this moment his level has not yet been scaled to the level of Champions League football. That Uneken can make a nice step after this season is clear,'' the ED writes about it.
Clubs that are interested in Uneken will probably not need to reach deep into their pockets for the striker. ''The expectation is that he won’t have to cost a mega amount, although PSV will likely still want a limited fee and to include a sell-on percentage in a transfer contract,'' according to the Eindhovens Dagblad.

Fortuna of ADO lijkt me nog het beste voor hem, Breda is wat dat betreft "mid". Als PSV een paar miljoen wil is dat prima, maar dan moet hij wel doorpakken en niet weer een seizoen bankzitter worden. 🤡💀
Gok dat Fortuna het meest logisch is, Eredivisie voetbal en toch kans op speeltijd. Ik hoop dat PSV niet alleen naar ambitie kijkt maar ook naar de rol die Uneken krijgt, anders blijft het hangen bij "veel potentie" en te weinig minuten. ⚽
Doorverkooppercentage dus. PSV doet dat slim, als hij explodeert dan cashen ze later ook. 👀🔥 Als hij maar eerst de stap maakt waar hij zelf op mikt.

Denk dat PSV vooral wil voorkomen dat hij bij een topclub meteen geen impact maakt. Met een beperkte vergoeding en doorverkooppercentage klinkt het als een nette deal, geen paniekverkoop.
Als PSV zegt dat het geen mega-bedrag wordt, ben ik wel benieuwd wat PSV "beperkte vergoeding" noemt. Als het 0-kopeen is met 40% doorverkoop dan is het wss cap... maar als het serieus geld is, dan is het wel een goede deal voor PSV. 💯🔥
tbh NAC voelt echt als de logische stap als ED gelijk heeft. Breda speelt nu KKD maar als hij echt een Eredivisie-move wil, dan moet hij toch rekenen op concurrentie. Eens kijken of ADO of Fortuna harder gaan lopen.
NAC gedegradeerd en dan toch proberen... tbh, dat voelt alsof Uneken een stap terug doet. Of NAC moet echt een project hebben want Anders word het weer bankzitten.
ADO en Fortuna hebben interesse, prima... maar ik wil niet dat PSV weer een huurling wegzet die vervolgens in de Eredivisie doorbreekt en wij hem nooit terug zien. Met doorverkooppercentage in het contract is het in elk geval slimmer dan gewoon laten gaan.
Uneken is zeker goed bezig in de verhuur, maar ik snap die quote wel. Als PSV zegt dat het nog niet op CL-niveau zit, dan is dat gewoon realistisch. Toch zou ik hem niet "weg" doen zonder duidelijke speeltijd garantie.

Uneken lijkt echt een "gekochte optie" voor de Eredivisie te worden. Als NAC hem al kan fluiten, dan is dat vooral omdat Fortuna en ADO hem wellicht sneller als een echte versterking zien dan NAC.
