A hard-hitting strike for Earnie Stewart

PSV lost the final match of its pre-season camp against Spanish La Liga club Villarreal, 1-3. The defeat provides plenty of talking points on social media. For some PSV fans, the loss is also a reason to go hard on Earnie Stewart. Unjust? Yes, of course.

Bosz's team started off well but, in a short time and suddenly out of nowhere, had to deal with a few big chances. Goalkeeper Matej Kovar did his job with 10 saves but also made a couple of big mistakes, as he often does when he makes mistakes. 

The heavy defeat at home doesn't immediately say too much since next week another five potential first-team players will join and return, but the defense didn't exactly look solid, and that gives many PSV fans the necessary concerns.

For a PSV fan, it’s even time to point to Earnie Stewart when it comes to the defense. 'In recent years, Stewart brought in for the defense: Kovar, Olij, Malacia, Karsdorp, Flamingo,Yarek, Bella Kotchap, Nagalo, Dest and Sildillia.
