Bids made by PSV for a defender; no amount offered for Mats Rots.

Earlier this week it became known that PSV target Mats Rots is leaving FC Twente for a fee of sixteen million euros including bonuses for the German club TSG Hoffenheim. As a result, PSV is missing out regarding the left-back of the Tukkers.

In addition to Rots, central defender Ruud Nijstad has, over the past few months, frequently been linked with a move to PSV. Nijstad is also reportedly of interest to many foreign clubs.

It has meanwhile become known that PSV has serious interest in Nijstad. With this report, Tubantia is bringing the news to light, and PSV watcher Rik Elfrink of Eindhovens Dagblad also confirms this information.

In addition to Nijstad, right-back Bart van Rooij is also attracting plenty of interest from several clubs. However, it is not known whether PSV is interested in Van Rooij.

''Around Nijstad there is more movement'', writes Tubantia about the transfer situations involving Nijstad and Van Rooij. In addition, Rik Elfrink reports that PSV has already made an offer to the Tukkers, but that it is not yet certain that the defender is officially a PSV player as a result.

If the central defender would actually leave Enschede, then there is a chance that FC Twente will go into double figures and therefore receive more than ten million. ''But the chance is not that big that he leaves for a 'Mats Rots amount','' according to Tubantia.
