Saibari in the picture at a European top club, talks opened
1 min readThanks to a strong season at PSV, there is a good chance that Ismael Saibari will leave Eindhoven after the summer. The 25-year-old Saibari has already been mentioned in many football talk shows as an option to play in the Premier League or the Bundesliga.
The Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is now sharing the news that no one less than FC Bayern Munich is in talks with PSV's midfielder. The record champions see PSV's player as a good alternative to Anthony Gordon, who also drew interest from FC Bayern and has chosen to move to FC Barcelona.
In addition to Romano, the Eindhovens Dagblad also reports that the South Germans, who this season took possession of the national treble, are interested in the Moroccan international. In the meantime, PSV would already have been informed by FC Bayern about the interest in Saibari.
The ED writes that PSV demands a gigantic amount for the midfielder, with the newspaper mentioning a sum of sixty million. This amount is referred to by the ED in relation to midfielder Kees Smit of AZ, who was previously linked with this price.

A personal agreement between the German club and Saibari does not appear to be a problem, since the midfielder seems open to a move to FC Bayern. PSV only still has to decide for what amount the Moroccan international can leave the club.
Saibari staat open voor de Duitse club en PSV onderhoudt uitstekende banden met Bayern. Verhaal van @FabrizioRomano klopt. Het spel kan daarmee weleens sneller dan voorzien op de wagen komen.

tbh i still dont trust our build-up when the press triggers. if the CBs pass into pressure one time too many, we lose the whole rhythm and suddenly its a counter every attack. need that calm first touch from the holding mid, otherwise its mid-table football disguised as peak. 💀
Simons had that "win the duel and turn" look again, and you could see why defenders hate him. Still, i want more end product, not just pace.
If PSV go with that pressing trigger again, i swear it only works when the first pass is quick. Otherwise you get stuck in midfield and opponents just play through us.
"playing through the lines" is a cap if we keep ignoring the fullback overlap... 😂 I think the right wing needs more support from the 8, otherwise it becomes predictable. Also, why does the press stop right after the first tackle? 👀
tbh i fear this is the same story as always, great midfielder, big interest, then he is gone. 60m is a lot but Bayern tax is real... i just hope PSV have a replacement lined up 🔥
🔥🔥🔥 Goal!! That move at the end was pure PSV, quick touches and then explode into the box. If we can keep that tempo with the same back line, we are dangerous in every match.
That quote about "playing through the lines" sounds good, but tonight we looked shaky when the ball got turned over in midfield. Cody Gakpo has to demand it in those pockets more, otherwise our build-up dies. Defensively we were not brave enough in the second phase.
If we are going to press like this, it has to be coordinated, not just one midfielder running around. I like Guus Til's energy but sometimes he commits too early and leaves space behind him. Still, that win mentality is exactly what PSV need.
Bayern talking to Saibari is big news, but 60 miljoen feels like PSV protecting itself. If Saibari really wants the move, we should cut the deal if the fee is right, not cling for pride.
If PSV are really going for that higher press, then the midfield has to win the second balls, no excuses. Memphis needs to be sharper in those pockets or he will get isolated again. 👀
