“Green light from Munich for the Saibari transfer as well”
1 min readTransfer expert Fabrizio Romano and the Eindhovens Dagblad reported on Tuesday morning that Ismael Saibari would be of interest to FC Bayern Munich. According to Romano, Der Rekordmeister would also already be in talks with Saibari about a move to the German champions.
ED reported in that context that PSV is aiming for an amount of at least sixty million euros for the Moroccan international. The midfielder himself is reportedly open to a transfer to the Bundesliga.
Now Sky Sports Deutschland and Fabrizio Romano are bringing out the news that Vincent Kompany, the coach of FC Bayern, has given his approval for a transfer of the attacking midfielder to southern Germany. Earlier this season, Saibari was still responsible for a world-class goal during the Champions League match against Die Bayern.
Despite this wonderful goal, PSV lost 1-2 and thereby Peter Bosz's team was eliminated from the billions match. A personal agreement with Saibari will not be an issue for both parties, while there is still a price that needs to be negotiated.
For both clubs, the most important thing now is to reach an agreement for a transfer of Saibari, who is currently preparing with Morocco for the 2026 World Cup. In addition, FC Bayern has to deal with a 'financial limit', as Romano writes on the X platform.

"Vincent Kompany ... goedkeuring heeft gegeven" zegt genoeg. Dit ruikt naar een serieuze deal, alleen de onderhandeling over de prijs wordt lastig. Als Bayern een financiële limiet heeft, moet PSV daar slim gebruik van maken.
ngl, ik snap wel dat Saibari openstaat voor Bundesliga, maar tbh die prijs moet gewoon op tafel. PSV had hem hard nodig na die Champions League banger tegen Bayern... en dan verlies je ook nog 1-2. 60m is geen gek bedrag, anders verkopen we elk seizoen our best 'goated'.
tbh i think this goes through if PSV dont panic in negotiations. Saibari will want that Bundesliga push, but Bayern always try to squeeze the price. 60m feels like we should hold the line. 💯
If Bayern Kompany approves it, we should be ready for a serious bid. 60 miljoen is the bare minimum, dont let them talk us down after that CL goal. ⚽
If Bayern echt groen licht heeft van Kompany, dan zijn we wel snel klaar met het spelletje. 60 miljoen blijft voor PSV echt de ondergrens, maar Bayern gaat natuurlijk proberen te drukken. Saibari is wel precies zo'n type dat Bayern graag heeft.
