1 min readBesides PSV, Willem II will be the second club to represent North Brabant in the Eredivisie next season. The Tricolores managed last Saturday, after a season in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, to win promotion back to the Eredivisie by settling matters with FC Volendam on penalties.
Last Monday, the squad of the Tilburgers was honored on the Heuvel in the city center of Tilburg. During the event, coach John Stegeman took the microphone and addressed the ecstatic crowd.
''Eredivisieeee! Amsterdam, here we come! Rotterdam! Eindhoven!'', shouted the exuberant Stegeman and in doing so he also referred, alongside PSV, to Ajax and Feyenoord.

I think the article overplays the role of one man. Even with the right tactics, the timing of the second run in the box has to improve. Otherwise we keep ending up with the same low-quality chances.

🔥 That start was peak PSV, but i still dont trust the backline when the ball gets switched fast. Safer to keep the CBs closer together.
For me the biggest takeaway is the lack of ruthlessness in the final third, we create chances but dont turn them into goals consistently. Still, if PSV can sharpen that finishing in the next match, this same approach becomes a banger. 👏⚽
"PSV Inside" feels like it nailed the issue: our buildup gets shaky when the fullback doesnt show for the ball. That quote about spacing was spot on, we need quicker body angles in midfield.

If PSV are going to press high, we need Sangare to be more aggressive in the first 10 minutes. Otherwise they invite transitions and then it turns into chaos.
tbh PSV midfield looks way too open when the opposition presses high, even if the passing is crisp. i hope PSV changes the tempo in build-up or we will keep getting baited into turnovers. 🔥
