And three: play a bit more attacking football, come on! It’s really too cautious all the time, and I don’t like seeing that'', Lammers is adamant.
He also speaks about who should play in the spotlight for the Netherlands national team. Among others, Donyell Malen and Brian Brobbey have had a good season, while Memphis Depay is struggling with his fitness.
''When you see how Donyell plays football, then I would always put him in the lineup. Brian can too, because he also plays fantastically. But I think that he has even more value as a substitute. So if there’s a need, that you can bring him in. But when you see how Donyell plays football. He’s a humble boy, so he’s not going to demand his place, but he does have to do that, because I think that at this moment he is the man in form'', concludes the actor.

Guus Til nog een kans, oké, maar Veerman laten vallen is een L keuze. Koeman moet niet doen alsof het een clubkeuze is, maar een vormkeuze. Als Malen de vorm heeft, zet je hem erin en laat je hem ook echt beslissen.
Over de spits ben ik het met Lammers eens dat Malen er moet staan. Depay is quality, maar als fitheid nog kwakkelt dan krijg je te veel onzekerheid. Brobbey als breekijzer is wel echt een slimme optie.
"neem hem gewoon mee" bruh, dat is toch gewoon kwaliteit. Koeman blijft te veel bewaren, terwijl je met de juiste chemie juist vrijer moet spelen. Vrijheid voor Veerman, meer pit voor Oranje.
Donyell Malen in de basis en Brobbey als breekijzer is wel degelijk een plan. Als Depay niet fit is, dan moet PSV-link gewoon doorselecteren naar het WK, en niet twijfelen.
Frank Lammers met zijn "Ronald, lieve Ronald" 😂 maar ik snap zijn punt wel. Als Veerman niet mag, dan mist Oranje creativiteit op het midden. En tbh, Veerman is niet zomaar een bankzitter.
Guus Til nog een kans is logisch, maar Joey Veerman eruit vind ik echt cap. Koeman moet gewoon wat meer durven, anders blijft Oranje te voorzichtig, net zoals Lammers zegt 🙄.
I get why Koeman might prefer balance, but leaving out Veerman feels harsh. Frank Lammers is right that the Netherlands also need an attacking mindset, and Donyell Malen deserves that striker spot on current form. 👀

Joey Veerman eruit vind ik echt onbegrijpelijk. Als hij zo speelt voor PSV, dan is het toch juist logisch dat Koeman hem meeneemt. Koeman kiest weer voor "veilig", en dat zegt Frank Lammers eigenlijk ook.
"ga een beetje aanvallender voetballen, joh!" Lammers snapt het gewoon. Als Donyell de man in vorm is, start hem dan en laat Brobbey als breekijzer komen, dat is peak plan. En Veerman? i know hij is geen garantie, maar hij is wel controle en tempo. 💯
