Well-known PSV fan and actor advises Ronald Koeman: “Just take him along”

National coach Ronald Koeman will announce his squad for the 2026 World Cup on Wednesday afternoon after the final training session. Joey Veerman will, despite a strong season at PSV, not be part of the squad, and for Guus Til there is still a chance of a place in the World Cup squad.

And three: play a bit more attacking football, come on! It’s really too cautious all the time, and I don’t like seeing that'', Lammers is adamant.

He also speaks about who should play in the spotlight for the Netherlands national team. Among others, Donyell Malen and Brian Brobbey have had a good season, while Memphis Depay is struggling with his fitness.

''When you see how Donyell plays football, then I would always put him in the lineup. Brian can too, because he also plays fantastically. But I think that he has even more value as a substitute. So if there’s a need, that you can bring him in. But when you see how Donyell plays football. He’s a humble boy, so he’s not going to demand his place, but he does have to do that, because I think that at this moment he is the man in form'', concludes the actor.
