PSV misses out on another transfer target | Contract extension next

Earlier this week, news broke that Mats Rots from FC Twente is making the move to TSG Hoffenheim for sixteen million euros. Rots was the subject of much attention from PSV over the past few months, but he still chooses to continue his career abroad.

In addition, it also emerged that PSV would have shown interest in Ruud Nijstad, left-centre back for FC Twente. According to Voetbal International, PSV would also have made an offer of five to six million euros for the defender.

This offer was, however, rejected by the Tukkers and, in addition, Nijstad also attracted interest according to VI from the German club Eintracht Frankfurt, where former PSV players Ritsu Doan and Mario Götze are under contract.
