Million Transfers Imminent | New talks scheduled: “Smoothing out the final creases with PSV”

1 min read

New talks are scheduled between delegations from PSV and FC Bayern Munich regarding the transfer of Ismael Saibari to the South German powerhouse. It seems there is little more in the way, but the transfer fee still needs to be agreed upon.

The transfer of Ismael Saibari to Bayern Munich is therefore not yet fully completed. According to PSV watcher Rik Elfrink, a new meeting has been scheduled for Monday between the PSV management and the management of the German top club to discuss the final details of the deal. The multi-million transfer is expected to be coming soon, multiple German media report in the meantime.

In recent days, it seemed as though a move from Saibari to Bayern had been put into full swing, but the actual discussions between the managements of PSV and FC Bayern are only scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. Earlier, Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the Moroccan international has personally agreed with FC Bayern and that an agreement between the clubs was also close, but that still seems premature.

In any case, everything looks good for all parties. According to PSV watcher Rik Elfrink, however, PSV and Bayern still need to reach agreement on a number of financial details. "Everything is still the same: it looks good, but the parties still need to find each other on a number of points,", the club watcher for the Eindhoven Daily writes on X.

The German champion would be willing to reach deep into its pockets for the 25-year-old midfielder.  After discussions on Monday or Tuesday, more may become clear about the completion of the transfer. "More tomorrow (or after that)", Elfrink writes.

The famed transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports on Sunday that Bayern München has confidence in a prompt completion of the transfer. According to the transfer expert, the Germans want to finalize the transfer definitively this week. The medical examination of the Moroccan international would ultimately take place in the United States, where FC Bayern’s medical staff would be on standby to get everything smoothly arranged around Saiabri’s medical examination.

Romano says Bayern wants to finalize this week and expects a quick medical in the USA. But if "de transfer som dient nog wel overgekomen te worden", then PSV fans should stay alert until the paperwork is actually signed. 👀

Naah Romano saying they trust everything and this week is "definitive" feels like jinxing it a bit. Monday and Tuesday are key, because until the financial details click, im not celebrating yet. 💀

Bayern wanting to finish this week, medical in the US, sounds very organized ngl... but Romano also said things were near already. Until the fee and the add-ons are actually signed, i wont believe it. Show me the numbers, PSV.

Bayern talks again, surprise surprise. As long as PSV and those "last financial details" dont drag it, i am fine. Maar als het weer een bedrag-gedoe wordt, dan is Saibari straks weg en krijgen we weinig controle.

Honestly i get the hype for a million transfer, but spending on the last financial details is where clubs can get mugged. Tuesday talks might be the moment PSV squeeze out the right add-ons, sell-on, and bonuses. 👀

If this is true, it feels like Saibari is already basically gone. Still, those "last financial details" are always where deals get sticky. I just hope PSV holds firm, because a "near agreement" can still turn into a mid-week delay.

Saibari naar Bayern, miljoentransfer incoming... thats huge for the money, but also a risk for our midfield balance. If we sell him, we better have a replacement already lined up, no excuses.

Honestly, if the talks are Monday and Tuesday, why are the German media already acting like its done? Id rather wait until PSV confirms the final amount and add-ons, because thats where deals get messy.

Medical in the US?? That is actually wild. But if the player is already personal agreement with Bayern, then PSV better close the deal properly, not get caught on small clauses. 🔥

"Alles is nog hetzelfde: het ziet er goed uit, maar partijen moeten elkaar nog op een aantal punten vinden." yeah that line always means there is still some money/game left. i just want the numbers to make sense for PSV, not for Bayern's negotiations.

"Alles is nog hetzelfde: het ziet er goed uit" ja ok, maar die laatste punten zijn meestal waar the drama zit 😂. Medische keuring in de VS is wel een wildcard, maar topclub logistiek denk ik.

If this is true that Saibari has personal agreement, it feels like the clubs are just haggling over pennies now. I just hope PSV doesnt get played on the financial details.

if Bayern truly wants to wrap it up this week, PSV should just be ready on the financial "last details" part. Saibari is a big piece, so i hope we dont sell cheap just to get it done.
