Peter Bosz points to Ajax
1 min readWinning a national title for the fourth consecutive time is much easier said than done. Peter Bosz, as well as the PSV board, know that all too well. It’s going to be difficult next season.
In the run-up to the new season, Peter Bosz also says that he expects a lot of fireworks from Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Both clubs are investing heavily, and it can be said that Ajax in particular is taking on financial risks. And so, a season with a lot of resistance is coming, Peter Bosz believes.
Meanwhile, PSV only signed Sven Mijnans, but Ajax and Feyenoord are not sitting still on the transfer market. Still, it seems PSV is the clear number 1 title favorite in popular opinion. Every year, Peter Bosz thinks it will get harder, and he says that to the media. 'We really need to do it ourselves again,' Bosz points to his squad.
The Eredivisie finds itself in a situation where PSV is leading. That started just after the appointment of Peter Bosz. In his debut season as coach of PSV, Bosz won his first national title. After that, two more national titles, but that fourth trophy in a row must then really happen, according to Bosz.

'The first time you don’t become champions only brings it closer, that’s obviously the case,' the coach of PSV admits. 'It’s clear what’s going on at Ajax; they’re doing everything they can to be champions next year. They don’t bring in youth now, but players who know what it takes.' thus Peter Bosz on the competition from Amsterdam.
