In the “Nijstad interest” | Defender offered to PSV
1 min readIt is now clear that PSV will face a busy transfer summer, with the club set to lose several key players. Ismael Saibari will be leaving for FC Bayern Munich, and Anass Salah-Eddine will also return to AS Roma to go there in search of his chance.
In addition, the chance is also quite high that Sergino Dest will leave after the World Cup. In terms of incoming transfers, PSV this week has already missed the mark when it comes to left-back Mats Rots, who is leaving FC Twente for TSG Hoffenheim, and Ruud Nijstad also does not seem set to come to PSV since the central defender, according to Fabrizio Romano, will extend his contract until 2029 in Enschede.
Het Eindhovens Dagblad came out on Friday with the news that PSV are interested in the nineteen-year-old defender Wojciech Mónka from Lech Poznan. Whether PSV will actually cast a line for the defender is not yet known.
It is clear that PSV will look for a new central defender since Ruud Nijstad, therefore, is not going to come. According to De Telegraaf (ED), an intermediary has offered the name of Mónka to PSV as an alternative to Nijstad.

The club’s nineteen-year-old defender from Poznan already has forty European matches to his name. The coming weeks will have to show whether PSV is going to make an attempt to bring Mónka to Eindhoven.
