Arne Slot is accused of arrogant behavior: “Slot is warmly welcome at PSV.”

Sources report to Sport Bild that Slot not only held his players to account with objective criticism, but also with arrogance and personal attacks directed at those players.

The denigrating remarks, according to the newspaper, would not go down well with players with a Bundesliga background. Last summer, Liverpool signed Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitiké from German clubs, while Ibrahima Konaté, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, Wataru Endo and Alexander Isak also have a history in the German Bundesliga. “It’s understandable that Slot’s words did not sit well with them,” sounds the response from Arne Slot, who was sacked by Liverpool and is also associated by certain journalists with a future at PSV.

Valentijn Driessen, for his part, thinks he knows that PSV could perhaps come into view faster and earlier than many people think. According to Driessen, Slot would come into the picture at PSV at the moment that Koeman and Oranje are quickly eliminated in the United States. In that case, the KNVB could consult Bosz, so that Arne Slot could go on to take over the baton from the Peter Bosz who is so beloved and successful at PSV.

But still, accusing Arne Slot of arrogant behavior isn’t exactly easy to call logical.
