“I’m hearing now that PSV is thinking: then give us sixty million too.”

You can actually not really imagine it for multiple reasons. FC Bayern Munich shows interest in a player from Ajax in case they don't reach an agreement with PSV about the transfer fee for Ismael Saibari.

It does seem to be the case. At least, according to a journalist from BILD. 'Bayern Munich makes itself known to Ajax if the Saibari deal does not go through,' the German tabloid reports on the transfer turmoil involving PSV and FC Bayern Munich.

The negotiations between Bayern Munich and PSV over the transfer of Ismael Saibari are, for now, going tough. At least, that is what Christian Falk of BILD reports, with Eindhovens Dagblad stating that the executives of both clubs will only sit down together in the coming days to get everything moving smoothly.

At BILD, it appears that there is different information. The German power has placed an opening bid of 47 million euros with PSV, but PSV management wants to receive a considerably higher transfer fee for Saibari. If an agreement with the Moroccan international fails to materialize, the club from Munich may switch to Ajax forward Mika Godts, according to BILD.

Once again, few can really imagine that and so it seems as though BILD is reporting this with an ulterior motive. Could FC Bayern München perhaps put the relevant BILD journalist to work here in order to exert some pressure on PSV regarding accepting the amount offered?

'Godts is considered a cheaper alternative in Munich', the journalist reports. That PSV is high up in the tree, according to Falk, has to do with earlier transfer targets of the German top club. On his own YouTube channel, the journalist says that PSV's club management wants to receive an amount of around sixty million euros for Saibari. "Bayern first wanted to go for Anthony Gordon and had sixty million euros available for that," Falk believes. "Now I hear reports that PSV is thinking: then give us sixty million for Saibari as well," the journalist from BILD says.

Although the playmaker of PSV remains the absolute top priority at the Allianz Arena, Bayern is explicitly taking into account a scenario in which the negotiations definitively fall through. In that case, Godts could possibly come into the picture as a replacement, the journalist from BILD points out to Ajax and the Belgian forward.

"Mika Godts is also on the list. He ranks lower than Saibari, and I don't know exactly why, because he also had an incredibly good season. He's also a lot cheaper: the asking price is set at 35 million euros. If Saibari doesn't work out, then Bayern will contact Ajax", Falk said on behalf of BILD.
