“Former PSV player featured by Real Madrid”

Former PSV defender Denzel Dumfries, who has been active in Italy for Internazionale since 2021, is said to be on the radar of Real Madrid. Earlier, Dumfries was also linked with a move to Liverpool FC, but that transfer likely won’t happen due to Arne Slot’s dismissal.
According to the Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Koninklijken would be keeping Dumfries closely monitored. However, an official offer would not yet have been put on the table, but there have already been talks between the right-back and Real Madrid.
Due to this news, Internazionale is already looking for a possible replacement for Dumfries. The Italian champions have already made an offer for Marco Palestra.
Dumfries has been a mainstay for the blue-and-blacks since his move to Milan in 2021. In five seasons, Dumfries won the league title twice with Inter, and in 2023 he also reached the Champions League final, in which they lost 1-0 to Manchester City.

Denk dat dit vooral rumoer is. Er staat nog geen officieel bod, maar "al gesprekken" klinkt toch als druk zetten op Inter om Palestra te halen. Dat ruikt naar spel met de markt.
Inter heeft al geboden op Marco Palestra... lol dat gaat snel. Als Dumfries echt weg wil, dan is dit geen gerucht meer maar een uitrol. Dumfries was top met assists en energie, maar ik vraag me af of hij in La Liga net zo effectief blijft.
Dumfries naar Madrid zou vooral betekenen dat ze meer snelheid en duels willen op rechts. Maar is dat niet precies waar Inter al mee kan lopen als ze hem verliezen? Hun zoektocht naar Palestra moet wel echt een plan B zijn.
Real Madrid Dumfries volgen is wel logisch... maar honestly, ze gaan voor een rechterback die straks weer als winterwapen ziet? 😂
"nauwlettend in de gaten houden" is natuurlijk altijd zo'n halve waarheid. Als ze echt serieus zijn, komt er vroeg of laat een bod. Dumfries had bij PSV ook die chaos in zijn voordeel, maar bij Madrid moeten ze rust willen aan de bal.
Tbh Real Madrid met Dumfries snap ik wel, maar ik zie hem niet zomaar als echte Galactico. Als Inter al gesprekken heeft, dan is het gewoon een domino-truc. Wel benieuwd wie ze als vervanger pakken, Marco Palestra klinkt als "betwijfelbaar maar goedkoop".
