Football fan makes remarkable suggestion: “A typical PSV transfer”

On the social media platform X, a remarkable suggestion is also made by the account @SjaakvKooten, a parody account of the character Sjaak van Kooten from the film and television series Flodder. It concerns a Feyenoord fan, as seen in the profile picture in which Sjakie is shown wearing a Feyenoord shirt.

This fan names the name of Teun Koopmeiners as a potential newcomer for PSV. 'Teun Koopmeiners > PSV. Would really be a typical #PSV transfer,' the account writes.

Koopmeiners is still active at Juventus in Italy, but is on the list to leave the club from Turin. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that last Friday.

Between 2021 and 2024, the midfielder was a mainstay for Atalanta Bergamo, after which the move was made to Juventus. However, at De Oude Dame, the former AZ player could not convince, and as a result Koopmeiners may therefore leave Juve.

In the past, PSV has already pulled off several stunts on the transfer market, such as signing Mario Götze in October 2020 and, in September 2024, signing Ivan Perisic on a free transfer. Moreover, it also seems that PSV is still interested in signing the free agent Julian Brandt, who previously worked with Peter Bosz at Bayer 04 Leverkusen and has now left Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer.
