More clarity about possible transfers: 'It still looks like'

1 min read

Last week, news emerged that PSV is in talks with the French club RC Lens about a transfer of youth player Armando Obispo. The French club is reportedly also already submitted an offer to PSV to take over Obispo.

With that message, among others, Eindhovens Dagblad and Voetbal International came out. Now the former outlet reports that PSV and RC Lens still have not reached an agreement on a transfer, and according to the ED this has to do with the transfer fee.

PSV would only be willing to cooperate on a transfer for Obispo when the French put at least five million euros on the table for the central defender. Last week, a bid would have been made of between three and four million euros.

For PSV this is too little, and the club is therefore also standing firm with regard to the transfer fee, but nevertheless it appears to be only a matter of time according to the ED. "Lens is, according to sources close to the situation, not too far off from that anymore," the local paper reports.

PSV also expects that the French club can meet the financial requirements without difficulty. ''It still appears that the transfer will be completed, but there is no guarantee'', the ED concludes.

"tactics need to match the players" yeah sure, but then play to our strengths. If the article is right, trust the overlap more, stop trying to walk it in every time. 🥵🐐

I think the biggest positive was the pressing intensity off the ball. When PSV closed passing lanes, the chances came naturally, not forced.

bro after that gameplan talk, i still dont get why we keep making it so predictable down one side. Peppermind stuff, but the press from the opponent was obvious.

If PSV wants more control, they gotta speed up the build-up in midfield. Right now it feels like we invite pressure, then scramble out.
