Mark will indeed "regularly fall" in the next weeks, i bet. also lets be real, Belgium should not ignore the Antwerp win and the fact he is already respected there. Van Bommel to Belgium would be peak, but im also curious if the talent pool fits his style 1-on-1. ️🐐
If they keep "option gelden" and immediately swap coaches, that is pure panic management. Van Bommel is not a miracle worker, even if he was champion at Antwerp. Garcia out is fine... but what is the plan for the same issues at the core? 👀

Tbh ik denk dat Van Bommel op papier past, maar de stap naar Rode Duivels is echt zwaarder dan Belgische clubvoetbal. Bovendien, Belgium moet snel resultaat tonen, niet pas over een paar maanden.

ngl ik snap wel waarom belgische media Van Bommel noemen, hij heeft daar echt krediet opgebouwd met Antwerp. Maar als ze Rudi Garcia weg willen, moeten ze ook eerlijk kijken naar de spelersgroep en niet alleen naar de trainer. Anders krijgen we weer een kort cyclusscenario.
tbh i get why they point at van bommel, he ticks the "Belgian vibe" box and he did well with Antwerp. but Garcia being done after one WK exit is a bit knee-jerk imo. still, if they want structure and intensity, van bommel is at least a real football choice. 🔥
