1 min readIn the hunt for reinforcements, PSV would have set its sights on Brazilian winger striker Lucca Marques of São Paulo FC from Brazil. In addition to PSV, Ajax would also be interested in Marques.
With that message, the Transferfeed media outlet comes out on the social media platform X. Both PSV and Ajax also face significant competition from, among others, Arsenal, FC Porto and Borussia Dortmund.
The nineteen-year-old winger still has a contract until mid-2028 and has been part of São Paulo FC’s first team since 2025. In 26 official matches, Marques has scored just once so far and has yet to provide an assist.

"PSV een oogje hebben laten vallen" ja leuk, maar i want proof. Arsenal, Porto, Dortmund, thats a proper bidding war... If we go for him, they better have a clear plan for minutes and development. Winger productivity needs to improve fast.
Ajax interest too? That usually means his price goes up fast lol. But tbh the stats make me question whether he fits PSV's pressing and direct play. Maybe PSV scouts him for potential, not output. 🙄
Wie kijkt mee naar São Paulo daar, want 26 wedstrijden en 0 assists is mid in mijn ogen. Maar als die vleugelspits vooral voor de goal komt en kansen voorbereidt, dan kan het bij PSV ineens wél klikken. 👀⚽
Lucca Marques as a winger-wing striker type with only 1 goal and 0 assists in 26 is a big risk. Contract until 2028 is nice, but that also screams that you will pay a lot. If we want value, there are better profiles than this. 💀
"contract tot medio 2028" klinkt altijd duur, maar als hij pas sinds 2025 bij de hoofdmacht zit en nu 1x scoort, is dat nog projectmateriaal. Ajax is ook gelinkt, dus tbh gaat het weer een race worden waarbij PSV zich bewijst in onderhandelingen en overtuiging.
Ik ben vooral benieuwd waarom ze hem vleugelspits noemen. Als hij tot nu toe nauwelijks direct bijdraagt (1-0-0 in echte cijfers), dan moet die rol bij ons anders uitpakken met Brekalo/Guus-achtig dynamiek. Anders is dit gewoon een lange opleiding.
If PSV really are linked to Lucca Marques, i hope its not a panic buy. 1 goal in 26 apps is mid at best, especially with Ajax also sniffing around. Bring someone who can actually create chances, please. 👀🔥
Arsenal, Porto en Dortmund die meedoen... dat is basically survival mode op de transfermarkt 🤡💀. Met 0 assists tbh moet PSV wel heel scherp zijn op scouting en match-fit.
Lucca Marques voor PSV klinkt leuk op papier, maar 1 goal in 26 duels is echt niet overtuigend. Is hij dan meer een type die ruimte maakt of afspeelt? Anders wordt het gokken met zo veel concurrentie.
