Marcel Brands warns PSV selection: “We need to stay sharp”

Also managing director Marcel Brands was present on Monday evening at the Eredivisie Gala, where Ismael Saibari was chosen as Player of the Year. Since Brands was appointed managing director in 2022, PSV has been national champions three years in a row, and next season too, the team of Peter Bosz hopes to be holding the trophy at the end of the season.

In conversation with VoetbalPrimeur, Brands lets it be known how PSV will continue its dominance in the Eredivisie again next season. ''We have to stay sharp, because everyone starts again from zero points. We enjoyed this championship, but during the transfer period we will have to put in all the sails again to assemble a good squad once more'', the general manager is firm for the camera of VP.

Brands also points out what PSV can improve next season despite the earliest national title in the history of the Eredivisie. ''Fewer goals conceded'', says the managing director.
