Saibari Replacement | Ghanaian talent in the spotlight at PSV, competing with Europe’s elite
1 min readNo one will have missed that Ismael Saibari has finally left PSV for FC Bayern Munich. Saibari delivers an outgoing transfer record for PSV and the club will therefore also have to look for a replacement.
According to the Ghanaian outlet My Joy, PSV would have caught the attention for nineteen-year-old Prince Amoako Junior, who the outlet sees as a replacement for Saibari. The winger currently plays for FC Nordsjælland in Denmark.
Besides PSV, Feyenoord is also said to be in the running to take over the talent from Denmark. Abroad as well, Amoako Junior is reportedly attracting the interest of major clubs.
Among others at Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund, the Ghanaian is said to be on the radar. In addition, the outlet reports that Brighton & Hove Albion and Coventry City are seriously interested in taking over Amoako Junior.
The Danish team, however, is not simply planning to allow the attacker to move on. The Ghanaian still has a contract until 2030 and also seems to represent a market value of around thirty million euros.

Eens. Als hij 30 miljoen kost en nog tot 2030 vastligt, dan hoop ik dat het geen kooptalent is om te gokken. Haal je hem voor de lange termijn, of gaat PSV hem eerst laten landen met minuten? 👀🔥
Prince Amoako Junior looks like a move in the right direction, but watching a 19-year-old step into PSV pressure is a risk. If we sell Saibari for a record, it better be a player ready to start, not only future talent 🔥⚽.
My Joy zegt dat Amoako Junior als vleugelaanvaller Saibari moet vervangen, maar ik ben benieuwd naar zijn rol zonder bal. Saibari was echt gevaarlijk in de omschakeling en in 1-tegen-1, hoe zal Junior omgaan met druk en snelheid in de Eredivisie en Europa? Tbh, PSV heeft straks een systeem-keuze.
Feyenoord in de race en dan ook PSG, United, Arsenal, Dortmund... bruh dit wordt geen simpele transfer. Idk, als Brighton ook serieus is dan moet PSV wel iets extra's bieden, sportief of qua contract en speeltijd.
If PSV really got any signal for Amoako Junior, dan is dat slim, maar 30 miljoen marktwaarde is niet midtable pricing lol. Contract tot 2030 maakt het ook meteen lastiger, dus ik verwacht veel gesprekken of zelfs een deal met bonussen.
Amoako Junior als Saibari-opvolger klinkt best spannend, maar tbh ik wil eerst zien of hij direct diezelfde rijpgang en press-respons kan geven. Nordsjaelland levert wel vaker talent, dus er zit potentie in... maar Bayern is wel Bayern, geen drop-in upgrade.
psv moet dit soort targets snel rondmaken want Feyenoord + buitenland tegelijk is echt chaos. als contract tot 2030 klopt dan wordt het onderhandelen anders dan "even proberen".
Saibari naar Bayern is echt hard gegaan, maar als Amoako Junior 30 miljoen waard is dan wil je meteen een kwaliteit upgrade. Alleen Nordsjaelland laat zo iemand niet los zonder flinke cash of een slimme deal 👀.
