PSV can whistle for the arrival of top talent
1 min readThe medium Soccernews.nl reported on Thursday morning that PSV would be interested in taking Nathan De Cat over from RSC Anderlecht. That was reported by transfer journalist Mounir Boualin from that same medium.
The Belgian would have a departure wish with the Belgian great power. De Cat's contract runs until mid-2027 and represents a market value of close to thirty million euros.
Now it seems PSV could put the arrival of the seventeen-year-old talent out of mind. This is reported by Eindhovens Dagblad on Thursday afternoon.
''PSV is considered a passed-over station unless something weird happens. That makes it a cat in the bag for transfer enthusiasts, unless a special development should arise'', the ED writes about it.
It is now clear that De Cat is on his way to German club TSG Hoffenheim and is going to sign a contract until 2031. That reports the German journalist Florian Plettenberg on the social media platform X.

De ED zegt "PSV wordt als een gepasseerd station beschouwd" en eerlijk, zo voelt het ook wel. 30 miljoen voor een 17-jarige en dan toch afhaken... had wel lef geweest, maar goed.
Ik dacht echt dat we dit zouden happen tbh. Als De Cat al richting Hoffenheim is, dan is het idd een kat in de zak voor de transferliefhebbers... 😂
De Cat tot 2031 bij Hoffenheim is echt zuur voor ons. 17 jaar, waarde rond 30 miljoen, en PSV doet alsof het over is tenzij er iets geks gebeurt... dat is gewoon te passief. 🤡
So Hoffenheim pakt De Cat dus, PSV "passeerd station" confirmed. Tbh die 30 miljoen marktwaarde voelt ineens minder spannend als we hem blijkbaar niet konden trekken.
