“PSV shows renewed interest in NEC key player”

Sano was this season one of the key pillars of Dick Schreuder's stunt squad, who managed to qualify for the Champions League preliminary round in the final matchday of the Eredivisie. ''The midfielder from NEC had already been in the picture at PSV earlier, but at the time it still cost a fortune. Whether they will now climb that high again in Nijmegen is still up in the air. According to the transfer journalist, there is a chance that PSV will soon be going to make contact in Nijmegen to take over the Japanese player. Both the club and the player would by now be aware of the interest that PSV has shown.
Sano would personally be open to a transfer to PSV, Boualin knows. Despite a strong season with Nijmegen Eendracht Combinatie, the midfielder was not included in Japan's World Cup squad.

Wat me vooral opvalt: Sano niet in Japan selectie. Dat betekent niet dat hij minder is, maar PSV kan mogelijk een kans pakken als de timing goed is. Als hij past bij Dick Schreuder-achtige energie, dan is dit een banger voor de Eredivisie.
"een poging lijken te willen wagen" ja logisch, maar met Dest en Veerman die onzeker zijn moet je toch eerst je basisplanning rond hebben. Anders ga je straks shoppen op paniek en niet op de juiste profielen. Sano openstaan is leuk, maar wie betaalt de ATM van Nijmegen?

Als Mounir Boualin het zegt, dan ruikt het naar een serieuze poging. Toch ben ik bang dat NEC weer de hoofdprijs vraagt, en dan krijgen we alsnog een 'nee' en moeten we terug naar de tekentafel.
Napoli heeft Kovar ook al op de radar, en dan komt NEC weer in beeld. Het is wel alsof PSV in elke richting aan het scoutsen is, maar we moeten ook oppassen dat het geen midweek-legpuzzel wordt.
Kodai Sano zou echt een interessante type zijn voor PSV. Als hij maar niet opnieuw te duur wordt zoals Boualin zegt, want dan ga je weer schuiven met je middenveld.
Kodai Sano zou echt een interessante no-nonsense upgrade kunnen zijn. Maar tbh als je Saibari kwijt raakt, moet je wel meteen schaalbaar kwaliteit halen in het midden.
