PSV pushes through for Mijnans, who is aiming his shots only at PSV: “Mijnans sees PSV as the perfect next step.”

A year ago, Mijnans was already set with PSV, just after former teammate Ruben van Bommel was transferred to PSV. In Alkmaar, in particular driven by Max Huibert, they did not want to sell two star players to PSV in a single transfer window, and so a ban was introduced on a transfer to PSV.

Mijnans and his surroundings, i.e. family, were furious with Huiberts and his employer AZ. On the training camp in the run-up to the 2025-2026 season, Mijnans did not exchange a single word with Huiberts. Apart from that, there’s no harm in putting question marks over a possible sum of 15 million euros for Mijnans, because the AZ midfielder doesn’t bring that much class and quality with him either.
