Peter Bosz responds to questions about succeeding Ronald Koeman and about talks with AZ
1 min readMultiple media are reporting this weekend that PSV and AZ are holding talks about the transfer of Sven Mijnans to PSV. PSV would be a strong contender for Mijnans’ signature, but on the other hand there would be a so-called clause in the midfielder’s contract with the club from Alkmaar.
However, this clause would apply only to PSV, in the case of an domestic transfer, of course. However, it seems that Feyenoord and Ajax do not have any financial room to take Myans over from AZ, which means that only PSV will remain as an Eredivisie contender with regard to what the future holds for Myans.
After the training match against Royal Antwerp FC, Bosz received various questions fired at him. The name of Sven Mijnans also came up. Bosz gave an anonymous answer and said he thinks Mijnans is a great player. Bosz did, however, refer to Stewart.
Of course, Bosz was also asked about the national team coaching job. After the disappointing World Cup, Ronald Koeman decided to step down from the Netherlands national team and so Bosz’s name is being mentioned again. "It’s nice that my name is being mentioned. In football, you never know," Bosz told ESPN, adding that he might be sacked in two months.

Luke Plange should start if we want pace behind. Midfield build-up is good, but we waste chances when the ball arrives too far from the box.
"We need to keep the momentum" yeah but momentum without structure is how you get punished in transition. I want to see the wingers tuck in earlier and the fullback step higher when we pin them. Otherwise it gets messy fast.
If PSV really went with that midfield balance, i like it. But i still think we need more control in the build-up, too many times it felt like we were rushing the last pass. When X player drops off defensively, it shows immediately.
"Inside PSV" saying the game plan is about control... fair, but tbh we need more direct threat in transition. When it gets slow, teams park deep and it turns into a grind.
If PSV are really trusting the back four to play out again, im nervous. Their press often forces panic passes, and you know the opponent will punish the first turnover.
