Luuk de Jong is clear about it and wants to play for just one Dutch club.
1 min readIn Enschede and in Doetinchem, one no longer needs to have any illusions. Luuk de Jong will not return to FC Twente, nor to De Graafschap. The striker does not see it sitting well to end his career at the clubs where he previously played with a lot of pleasure.
And so we can safely conclude that Luuk de Jong will not return to FC Twente. He says so to the Algemeen Dagblad. De Jong takes the opportunity to confirm his departure from FC Porto, but he also quickly puts an end to rumors about a return to FC Twente or to De Graafschap. De Jong wants to play for only one Dutch club.
The 35-year-old striker was injured at the start of the season and ultimately only played five matches for FC Porto. The Portuguese champions wanted to continue with De Jong, but he ultimately chose to leave himself. In recent weeks, there has been extensive speculation about a spectacular return of De Jong to FC Twente, the club where he played between 2009 and 2012. De Graafschap was also mentioned as a possible option.

Maarten Wijffels from De AD, also an Oranje watcher and a PSV watcher, enters into a conversation with De Jong and brings up rumors about FC Twente. “I can state clearly about that: in the Netherlands I only play for one club, PSV.”
Whether a return to PSV is still within the realm of possibility? “In Eindhoven I closed the chapter beautifully. It is my club, but a comeback as a player at PSV is no longer an option,” says De Jong. There is a chance that PSV’s figurehead will stop altogether as a footballer: “Yes, that’s also a possibility. I’ll keep everything open in the coming months.”

"PSV Inside" saying the build-up is the key... yeah but it only works if the fullbacks dont hesitate. When they wait half a second too long, the press bites and it turns into a transition game vs us.
Eens, Cody Gakpo looks like the one who can unlock low blocks, but im not convinced the support runners are always there. When it gets crowded in the middle, we stall a bit.
If PSV really want to play faster from the back, they need Sambo to stay calm under pressure. Otherwise teams will just press and force cheap giveaways.
