Dennis Man is clear about PSV and his future

Dennis Man leaves nothing to be desired in terms of clarity when it comes to his future at PSV. The Romanian winger had a great first season at PSV, but he is absolutely not thinking about leaving Eindhoven, despite several rumors.

The 27-year-old Romanian winger has set himself a few goals and, for example, wants to score more often, provide more assists and be more important than during his first year. Man wants to know nothing about a possible transfer because his focus is fully on PSV.

"Yes, really everything has to be better", says a man in conversation with Eindhovens Dagblad. "More goals, more assists, work harder. I have to help the team even more, but a big advantage is that I know the playing style better than when I came in. In the Eredivisie, as a striker, you either chase after your man or the other way around. In Italy, it is mainly about defending as well as possible. At PSV you also usually have the ball and you have to play regularly against teams that are set up defensively."

A first season and immediately league champion. "Overall good", the Romanian concludes in an interview with the Eindhoven newspaper. "It took a bit of getting used to after my transfer from Italy to the Netherlands. You’re in a different country, have new teammates and even live in a hotel for a while. Step by step, the guys have helped me to get into the team. I’m grateful to them for that."

"I came to play the Champions League, even though in Parma we were satisfied with enforcement. That is a huge difference. In the group you notice that everyone wants to be champion again, and I understand that. If you are standing on that flat cart for the first time, like I was in April, then everything in one word is fantastic", he points to the celebrations around the 27th league title. Man has no intention at all to leave PSV this summer.
