Long-term contract for Ismael Saibari

1 min read

According to De Telegraaf, the deal is done. The transfer of Ismael Saibari to FC Bayern München is complete. At least, the South German million-club is in agreement with Saibari, who there will sign a lucrative multi-million contract. There is, however, one catch....

PSV and FC Bayern München still have to get the transfer fee sorted out. Over the coming days, talks will take place between the executives of both clubs, who, as is well known, have maintained a very good relationship with each other for years.

According to De Telegraaf, however, there is little that can stand in the way of a transfer of Ismael Saibari to Germany. The PSV player is set to sign a contract until mid-2031 in Germany, reports De Telegraaf. Once the clubs have reached an agreement and the medical examination has been passed, Saibari will sign the five-year contract through the summer of 2031.

Starting this week, the delegations of PSV and Bayern will sit down to finalize the deal, both the Eindhoven Dagblad and other German sources report. Bayern and its management know what PSV wants to receive for Saibari, and so everything seems set to be wrapped up over the coming week ahead of the start of the World Cup qualifying tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Will it be fifty million, sixty million, or seventy million euros? A German source close to the action reported last week in a conversation with PSV Inside that FC Bayern’s first offer of 47 million euros was rejected. PSV would like to receive 55 million euros, but that will become clear in the coming days.

Tbh the biggest question is whether the fullbacks can push high without leaving Depay/Simons pockets empty. If the press is late, we get punished on the counter. I hope PSV coach has a plan, because we saw this pattern too often last season. 👀

🔥 This is the kind of football that makes me believe again. Keep building from the first pass and let the wide players run at people, thats where the goals come from.

Gonna be honest, PSV have looked great in phases, but when the game turns chaotic they lose their shape. If the midfield doesnt protect the spaces, every counter becomes danger. 💀

If PSV really want to control games, they must stop giving away easy transitions. The article hinting at tighter midfield spacing makes total sense, but i wanna see it in the first 15 minutes, not after 1-0 down. ⚽🔥

"PSV Inside" talks about chemistry like its automatic but man, we still miss those quick one-two triggers in the final third. Needs more tempo, more risk, or we will keep settling for half-chances. 👀

Did anyone else notice how our right side looked stuck whenever the fullback stepped up? If the winger doesnt get between the lines, the overlaps dont create anything. 😅

If PSV really want to beat the press this season, they need to play earlier through the lines, not keep recycling at the back. Safer passing is fine, but tbh it slows the whole attack.
