Online, it is assumed that he is referring to comments made by Feyenoord coach Robin van Persie, with whom Stengs did not get along.
"He did well. Everyone agrees on that. He gets his chance during the preparation. Even more than that, I’ll be sitting down with him soon to go over the season. Personally, I think he deserves that chance", Van Persie said after Feyenoord’s 2-0 victory over PEC Zwolle on Sunday.
Meanwhile, PSV fans also managed to join in the discussion around Gjivai Zechiël. “PSV should sign that guy, he really is a player for PSV,” posted PSV fan Son of Gun on X. Lots of support for this post, but for now Gjivai Zechiël is still returning to Feyenoord.

"PSV halen die jongen, dat is echt een speler voor PSV" ... tbh dat klinkt niet eens als hype, dat klinkt als realisme. Als Van Persie zegt dat hij kans verdient, dan is het juist slim om hem bij PSV te stappen en door te pakken. 👀
Gjivai Zechiël is zo'n speler die bij PSV meteen tempo geeft. Zeg wat je wil, maar als PSV hem echt wil halen dan is het een duidelijke upgrade voor het midden. 🔥

That "kans" van Stengs en de Feyenoord-woede snap ik wel, maar tbh het gaat mij meer om wat Zechiël kan in een PSV-systeem. Utrecht lijkt hem nu al goed te laten spelen, dus neem hem mee als het profiel klopt. Anders wordt het weer zo'n transferpraatje.

Stengs die "kans" post is zo'n geval van trollen of gewoon weinig vertrouwen. Maar Feyenoord-fans reageren over alsof PSV hem al gescout heeft. Als Zechiël straks echt komt, dan moet PSV hem als middenvelder met duel- en opbouwkwaliteit testen, meteen.
Gjivai Zechiël aan PSV koppelen na die ophef, dat klinkt eerlijk gezegd logisch. Je ziet wel dat hij nog geen vaste plek heeft, maar potentie is er. "kans" of niet, PSV moet vooral doorpakken in de voorbereiding.
