PSV player of great value in training match

That’s how Ricardo Pepi and Sergino Dest were in action on Saturday for Team USA against Germany in Chicago. The United States were beaten 1-2, and both PSV players, unlike in the match against Senegal, couldn’t play a major role in this game.
On the same day, Esmir Bajraktarevic went into action with Bosnia and Herzegovina against Panama. The PSV winger was taken off in the 63rd minute and the Balkan country failed to do better than a 1-1 draw.
On Sunday evening, Ivan Perisic for Croatia and Ismael Saibari for Morocco were in action. Saibari with Morocco could not go further than a 1-1 draw against Norway and Perisic was important for Croatia in the 2-1 win over Slovenia.
In the 51st minute, PSV’s versatile wide attacker was responsible for an assist to the captain and star player Luka Modric for the 1-0 by the Croats. In the 83rd, Andraz Sporar seemed to be setting the final score at 1-1, but in stoppage time Croatia struck again via a goal by Mario Pasalic, and as a result Perisic & Co. left for North America with a good feeling.

Dest en Pepi samen, maar echt weinig impact... 1-2 tegen Duitsland is wel leerzaam. Hopelijk trekt het PSV gewoon door, want tegen echte topploegen moet je meer brengen dan dit.
