Peter Bosz makes it clear: “I hope that lasts a little longer.”
1 min readPeter Bosz has meanwhile begun preparations for the 2026/2027 season with PSV. Bosz's squad has already played two friendly matches and on Saturday, the third friendly match is on the calendar against Union Saint-Gilloise.
Since Bosz took over as head coach of PSV in the summer of 2023, PSV has been league champions every season. The coach is also hoping to win the title again next season.
Last season, PSV became the earliest ever Dutch champions, but nevertheless, the coach expects that in the 2026/2027 season it will be considerably tougher to defend the title. The coach said this on Saturday to the cameras of VoetbalPrimeur.
''It gets harder every season, because the moment when you don’t become champions is getting closer. When that will be, I don’t know. I hope it lasts a bit longer,'' said a confident Bosz.

In addition, Bosz also believes that the other competitors will be on their guard. ''Opponents are going to adapt even more to you. Our direct competitors Ajax and Feyenoord are also working on it: with a different backroom staff and players, so it will be more difficult,'' said the current coach.
