“A dream that comes true,” but a move from PSV beckons
1 min readIn just over two weeks, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will kick off in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, and the necessary PSV players may also prepare to represent their country at the global finals. Left-back Anass Salah-Eddine is one of those PSV players who is allowed to represent his country.
The defender has just been selected for Morocco's World Cup squad, just like Ismael Saibari. Salah-Eddine is in any case very much looking forward to the World Cup, and this is what the left-back lets it be known on Instagram.

Morocco plays at the World Cup in Group C against Brazil, Haiti and Scotland. ''Now it’s time to play with pride, fight for every minute and give everything for the emblem. One nation. One dream'', concludes the PSV player.

"Nu is het tijd om met trots te spelen, voor elke minuut te vechten" dat klinkt als PSV-mentaliteit. Hopelijk komt dit niet ten koste van zijn ritme bij club, maar ik zie eerder een extra boost. ❤️
Brazilië, Haïti en Schotland, oké maar die eerste wedstrijd is echt bepalend. Als Salah-Eddine daar niet goed start, krijg je meteen druk. Toch snap ik de hype, dit is voor hem echt peak. 🚀
"Eén natie. Eén droom" is top, maar ik hoop ook dat Saibari en Salah-Eddine scherp blijven op die fysieke wedstrijden. Brazilië en Schotland gaan ze ruimte kosten, en Marokko moet slim schakelen anders word je afgestraft 👀
Anass die zegt dat hij zichzelf niet had geloofd... dat is mooi, maar ik hoop dat zijn ritme bij PSV niet breekt. Tegen Brazilië zal hij snel moeten omgaan met die druk, dus ik verwacht dat PSV slim moet managen met rust en training. 1 minuut geven en alles geven is top, maar wel met oog op het seizoen daarna. 💯
Ik vind het vooral mooi hoe hij het met beide benen op de grond houdt, maar eerlijk is eerlijk, dat "alles geven voor het embleem" moet je in actie omzetten tegen Brazilië. Ben benieuwd of Marokko zijn linksback durft te gebruiken in de opbouw. 💯
Saibari en Salah-Eddine samen op het WK, dat is echt dubbele PSV-power. Marokko poule C met Brazilië wordt meteen examen, maar met die instelling "één natie, één droom" kan er meer uitkomen. 👀
Tbh Poule C met Brazilië is meteen vuur doordraaien... maar Marokko kan die poule echt verrassen. Hopelijk blijft Salah-Eddine fit terugkomen, want PSV kan zijn energie achterin gebruiken 🔥
Saibari en Salah-Eddine naar het WK, PSGn? nee gewoon PSV afvaardiging. Poule C is wel degelijk, Brazilië is meteen vuurwerk, maar die "één natie, één droom" vibe klinkt alsof Marokko fris wil bijten. 👀🔥
Man, dat citaat "Een droom die uitkomt" raakt me wel. Salah-Eddine verdient dit, nu hopen dat hij minuten pakt en niet alleen in de kleedkamer staat. 🔥⚽
