Put FC Bayern BILD journalist to work on “applying pressure” toward PSV? “Bayern will report to Ajax”
1 min readYou can actually put nothing into it for several reasons. FC Bayern Munich is showing interest in a player from Ajax in case they don’t reach an agreement with PSV about the transfer fee for Ismael Saibari.
That seems to be the case, after all. At least, according to a journalist from BILD. "'Bayern Munich makes itself known to Ajax if the Saibari deal doesn't go through'," the German tabloid reports on the transfer turmoil involving PSV and FC Bayern Munich.
The negotiations between Bayern Munich and PSV regarding the transfer of Ismael Saibari are for now proving difficult. At least, that is what Christian Falk from BILD reports, with the Eindhovens Dagblad stating that the executives of both clubs will only sit down together in the coming days to get the whole thing moving smoothly.
At BILD, it seems they have different information. The German superpower has made an opening offer of 47 million euros to PSV, but the PSV management wants to receive a significantly higher transfer fee for Saibari. If an agreement with the Moroccan international fails to materialize, the club from Munich may switch to Ajax forward Mika Godts, according to BILD.

Once again, few people can imagine that, and so it seems that BILD reports this with an ulterior motive. Could FC Bayern Munich perhaps put the relevant BILD journalist to work here in order to exert some pressure on PSV to accept the offered amount?
'Godts is considered a cheaper alternative in Munich', the journalist reports. That PSV is high up in the tree, according to Falk, has to do with earlier transfer targets of the German top club. On his own YouTube channel, the journalist says that PSV's management wants to receive an amount of around sixty million euros for Saibari. "Bayern first wanted to go for Anthony Gordon and had sixty million euros available for that," Falk believes. "I now hear signals that PSV thinks: then give us also sixty million for Saibari," the BILD journalist says.
Although the playmaker of PSV remains the absolute top priority at the Allianz Arena, Bayern is explicitly taking into account a scenario in which the negotiations fail definitively. In that case, Godts could possibly come into play as a replacement, as the journalist from BILD points out, with Ajax and the Belgian forward.
"Mika Godts is also on the list. He is ranked lower than Saibari, and I don't know exactly why, because he also had an enormous good season. He is also a lot cheaper: the asking price is set at 35 million euros. If Saibari doesn't work out, then Bayern will get in touch with Ajax", Falk said on behalf of BILD.

"PSV Inside" keep saying the same thing about attacking width... but where is the end product when the crosses come in? I want to see smarter cutbacks and actual numbers in the box, not just hope.
I think the biggest difference was the timing of the substitutions. Bringing fresh legs for the last 20 minutes made PSV win second balls and control the game, thats the tactical edge.
That front line looked like a problem all match, especially when the wingers cut inside. When PSV hit it early, it felt like a goal was coming any moment, pure 🔥⚽
"tactical flexibility" yeah sure, but i need to see it in the last 20 minutes when games get ugly. bring on fresh legs and stop sitting too deep, its always when we make it hard for ourselves 💀
Goal!! i just hope we dont sit back after scoring, because then every counter feels like a disaster. Thats when PSV get punished the most.
Imo they looked best when the winger cut inside early and forced the defender to step out. Once that pattern disappears, the build-up gets too slow and predictable.
🔥🔥 we looked dangerous in transition though. That first quick burst after winning it was pure PSV energy. More of that, less sideways passing when the game is there to be won.
I still believe Roos is the key outlet when we lose the first ball. If the midfield connects faster, the whole team looks calmer, and thats the difference between peak PSV and mid PSV. 🚀
"Inside PSV" always makes it sound so simple, but in that system the #8 needs to screen the middle properly. Without that, Veerman or whoever drops in just ends up chasing shadows 💀
"aggressive wide play" sounds nice, but vs teams with a compact midfield it turns into hopeful crosses. We need Diogo/our 10 to find pockets between the lines more often, not just recycle possession.
Goal! 🚀🔥
Im glad the article mentions the midfield balance, because when it gets overrun we lose the ball way too easily. Need better positioning from the 8, then the 10 can actually turn.
Hows is nobody talking about the fullbacks? If they push too high, they leave space behind for counter attacks... and PSV always get punished for that 😂
If PSV are serious about pressing from the front, they need more runs in behind from the winger. Right now it feels a bit too predictable and teams can park well.
Tbh i think the article is right about the buildup, but im not convinced about the left side. If Lozano stays too narrow, we just give the fullback an easy match. Need more overlap from our winger or the #6 dropping deeper.
tbh i liked the way they kept the ball moving instead of hoofing it. but if we are conceding the same chance on the left again, thats on the fullback 100% 🙄⚽
If PSV really wants to play that fast build-up, Simons has to be the trigger every time. When he slows it down, the whole press gets dragged and it becomes way more predictable.
If PSV play that high press again, i want Sangare to stay brave with the tackles. Otherwise it turns into a transition festival and we already know how that ends... 👀
If PSV really wants to press like that, the midfield has to cover the gaps behind the 8. Otherwise it will be chaos on the counters, especially against quick teams.
