PSV’s loanees will no longer be playing for PSV next season
1 min readAt the start of this season, PSV decided to loan out three players and, in the winter break, Adamo Nagalo joined them as a fourth loanee. As expected, all four of them will not be active at PSV again next season either.
Het Eindhovens Dagblad reports that Isaac Babadi, Tygo Land, Joël Drommel and thus Adamo Nagalo will be playing football somewhere else next season. Land would be open to a longer stay at FC Groningen, where the midfielder, after a difficult start, has fought his way into the starting lineup.
Van Drommel it has been known for a while that the goalkeeper wants a transfer. The goalie came in the summer of 2021 from FC Twente, but during the 2021/2022 season he ended up on the bench in favor of Yvon Mvogo and then Walter Benitez.
This season, Drommel will be loaned by Sparta Rotterdam. In the club from Rotterdam-West, the PSV loanee is an important cog, but the Spartans won’t be able to afford him, meaning there is a chance that another club will take over the goalkeeper.

Babadi has been loaned out this season to Royal Antwerp FC, but that adventure has not turned out well. This calendar year, the midfielder, who debuted in 2023 under Peter Bosz, only appeared twice for the Belgian club, and as a result a new loan spell or a definitive departure from PSV does not seem to be ruled out.
Nagalo has been active for Turkish Konyaspor since the winter break. The Burkinese international has blossomed completely in Turkey and PSV seems willing to be open to a transfer.

Tygo Land in Groningen makes sense. He finally fought his way into the starting XI, so if he stays, at least it is development and not just random time on the bench.
Babadi at Antwerp looked like a dead end this season. Only two appearances this year is rough, so I'm not surprised PSV might just cut the losses.
Kinda sad to see all four out on loan again, especially Drommel. But I get it, if they want minutes and PSV cannot sell yet, loans are the only way.
