PSV target personally agrees with new employer; clubs still negotiating over transfer fee
1 min readA couple of weeks ago, the news emerged that PSV would be interested in the seventeen-year-old Nathan De Cat from Belgian club RSC Anderlecht. Despite alleged interest from Eindhoven, however, the young Belgian has already found a new club.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, the talent has come to an agreement with the German club TSG Hoffenheim regarding a transfer. However, the Cat must wait until Anderlecht and Hoffenheim reach an agreement.
This has to do with the transfer fee. Het Laatste Nieuws writes that Hoffenheim has put more than twenty million euros on the table and that is not enough for the Belgians.
The club from Brussels, in fact, wants to see a minimum amount of 25 million euros including a resale percentage, according to the newspaper. Nevertheless, an agreement between the two clubs is expected soon.

To the club leadership, the Belgian talent has also already made it clear that he has his sights set on a move to the Bundesliga. In recent weeks, Anderlecht has attempted unsuccessfully to break open the youngster’s contract, and as a result, the chance is also very slim that the Belgian will still play for the club from Brussels this season.

Hoffenheim offering 20m+ while Anderlecht wants 25m plus sell-on, classic... Tbh PSV dodged a headache if they are not matching the price. Still want to see PSV scout better, De Cat wouldve been a banger for the future.
