“Key player also in 2026/2027 for PSV”

Despite alleged interest in Ricardo Pepi, the American will also be a PSV player in the 2026/2027 season. The Eindhovens Dagblad reports this.

Pepe is meanwhile eliminated with Team USA from the World Cup on home soil and is now enjoying three weeks of vacation before returning to PSV. In 2023, Pepi from FC Augsburg joined PSV and in his first season the top scorer was primarily a substitute striker behind Luuk de Jong. After De Jong left in the summer of 2025, Pepi seemed to be heading for a spot as first-choice striker, but the American had a lot of bad luck last season due to injuries.
