PSV target moved to England

1 min read

Once again, it seems PSV is missing out on its summer transfer target. Earlier, PSV also came up short on Mats Rots and Ruud Nijstad, and in addition, Kodai Sano appears to be on his way to TSG Hoffenheim in Germany.

In addition, PSV will also be casting its net if it comes to the 21-year-old Álvaro Rodríguez. The striker from Elche appears to be headed for English club Bournemouth.

With that news, The Athletic will reveal on Thursday afternoon. The striker has been in the spotlight over the past few months from various European clubs, including PSV.

The striker will leave for Bournemouth for about 25 million euros. That amount can increase to at least thirty million euros even with bonuses.

The striker was trained by Real Madrid and the Madrilenians also benefit financially from the transfer that the Uruguayan makes. The Royals, in fact, are entitled to half of the transfer fee.

The Athletic also says Real Madrid gets half the fee, so of course every deal becomes complicated. Still, i would rather see us go all-in on a striker than keep "waiting and hoping" for the next chance.

If Álvaro is really heading to Bournemouth for around 25m, that is just painful timing. PSV needs to stop missing early and move before the English clubs do.

Man i swear PSV is always "almost" with these targets. First Rots and Nijstad, now Sano and this Álvaro Rodríguez... 25-30m and we stand there watching lol.
