Premier League | Analysts are reeling from the upcoming PSV multi-million transfer: ‘Bloodletting that he is leaving the Netherlands’

Arsenal manager Arteta has been a fan of him for years and he would not be out of place in the Premier League. However, a future move to the Premier League is still far from certain after this season. At ESPN, several analysts are upset about the upcoming multi-million transfer, because no, there is no stopping it anymore this summer.

Ismael Saibari seems ready for a transfer and will this summer bring in a record amount for PSV. "Of all the players in the Eredivisie, Saibari has the most conditions to succeed abroad in a top competition", Maaskant begins in Voetbalpraat on ESPN. "His physique, his running ability, his scoring ability..."

According to the analyst, this season the Moroccan international has shown he is ready for a step up. "We often talk about Joey Veerman. I think that too is a wonderful player. He is also a fantastic player to watch. But he has let it slip too often in top matches", Maaskant compares.

Maaskant believes that Saibari is ready for a transfer to a European top competition. "In Italy without a doubt. But that's not really a top competition anymore. I think he can play just as well in Germany and in the Premier League," he concludes.

Karim El Ahmadi is also annoyed by the fact that Ismael Saibari may have already played what could be his last match for PSV. That tells the analyst in the broadcast of Voetbalpraat on ESPN. He is lyrical about the qualities of the Morocco international.

Saibari may be missing for PSV for their last league match against FC Twente. The midfielder is dealing with minor complaints, which means he may have already played his final game for PSV. "I wouldn't take the risk with him on Sunday," analyst Danny Koevermans says on Voetbalpraat. "It could be his final match for PSV, but I don't know how fit he is."

El Ahmadi would find it a shame if Saibari has already played his last match for PSV. "I’ve really enjoyed him over the last few years. In the past seasons, there have been few players like him. That’s why it’s really a loss that he will probably leave the Netherlands. I would have loved to see him play here for years to come."

Goal!! if this article is right about the focus on width. Last few matches we were too narrow and it turned into passing drills, not chances 👀⚽

Bruno Martins Indi at the back is calm, but tbh our defensive duels still decide these games. If Tillman and Veerman dont control the second ball, we will be chasing for 90 minutes 💀

"PSV Inside" is spot on about the defensive transitions. When they defend deep they look fine, but the second the ball is lost in midfield it becomes chaos. 🤡

I actually liked the way they mentioned the rotation in midfield. When Xavi Simons drops a bit deeper, the 8 can run beyond and it looks way less predictable. That said, we need more intensity without the ball 🔥

Im not fully convinced by the midfield balance mentioned. If they want more control, Sangare cannot get pulled too far out of the pivot. Otherwise they lose the duels and opponents can turn on the half-space...

"Inside" stuff usually sounds nice, but imo the key is how PSV press after losing the ball. If your front line is one step too late, you will see those easy cutbacks all day 😅

If PSV are really going back to that high pressing from the start, then Madueke has to run at full speed every time. Otherwise they will just get bypassed and its gonna be a long night for the midfield. 👀⚽

If the plan is to build through the half-spaces again, im here for it. But dont let the fullbacks get too high, Ajax will punish that in transition.
