Million transfer heads towards completion: “Press consultations between executives”
1 min readThe biggest outgoing transfer ever is coming up for PSV. The German top club FC Bayern has no doubts about the future of Ismael Saibari. Meanwhile, the management teams of both clubs are holding feverish talks to get the multi-million deal moving quickly.
PSV and FC Bayern München are even planning to complete the transfer by next Sunday. Next Sunday, Morocco will play Brazil at the World Cup and ahead of that match, FC Bayern in particular is aiming for a deal with both PSV and with Saibari. That is what the Eindhovens Dagblad reports.
All parties want to conduct business quickly, but a number of important agreements still need to be made between the two clubs. Thus is the usual course of events around million-euro transfers, but PSV appears to have absolutely no rush to have the deal go before the spotlight quickly.
According to Eindhovens Dagblad, Saibari has set his sights on a step to South Germany, to the European top club FC Bayern. Everything still points to a spectacular deal coming, because Bayern wants to bring Saibari in, 'it sounds. Earlier, however, PSV has indicated that they will only let the Moroccan international go for 'a top price' and that is exactly what the management plus the Supervisory Board of PSV seems to be sticking to.
PSV and Bayern still need to reach agreement on several details. These include the base amount, the bonuses, and the payment date, the Eindhoven newspaper reports. 'Bayern would like to wrap up the deal in the short term, but PSV is not necessarily in a hurry', the Eindhoven Dagblad writes about how things stand.

Eens, Bayern wil snel, maar PSV "heeft niet per se veel haast". Dat is volgens mij precies hoe je onderhandelingsmacht behoudt. als ze tekenen met te lage bonussen dan is het meteen een L voor PSV. 👀💀
The interesting part is PSV "has no rush". If the final details are bonuses, base fee, and payment date, that is where we should not blink. Bayern can have all the urgency, but PSV should protect the valuation.
tbh ik snap PSV wel. Saibari naar Bayern is natuurlijk mooi, maar alleen als het Europees niveau ook echt betaald wordt. Die no-brainer is het dus niet voor PSV, en die houding vind ik volwassen.
"Druk overleg directies" klinkt leuk, maar ik ben benieuwd of het PSV echt geld oplevert of vooral tijd kost. Bayern kan willen afronden voor de wedstrijd, maar PSV moet gewoon grip houden op de voorwaarden. anders wordt het weer zo'n deal waar je later spijt van krijgt.
bayern wil zondag afronden en marokko tegen brazilië... tbh dat is best weird timing. maar als ze echt betalen wat PSV wil, dan ben ik voor. 💯⚽
als Bayern Saibari echt zo graag wil, dan is het toch gewoon topprijs time. Als PSV geen haast heeft, vind ik dat slim. Zolang die details over basis, bonussen en betaling maar strak geregeld worden. 🔥⚽
As Saibari echt naar Bayern gaat, hoop ik dat PSV die "topprijs" niet laat verwateren. We zien te vaak dat clubs denken dat ze druk kunnen zetten op ons, maar dit klinkt alsof PSV gewoon rustig blijft.
