German interest confirmed: “Clubs from the Premier League too, and the top of Serie A”

Bayer Leverkusen is going on an American tour; you could almost conclude from various angles that Leverkusen is indeed interested in Sergino Dest. This is confirmed by Eindhovens Dagblad, following reports in the German media. Leverkusen, however, is not the only club showing interest in the PSV right-back. Where FC Bayer has definitely nailed down matters regarding Ismael Saibari, Leverkusen is still a bit hesitant when it comes to Dest and PSV.
Thursday afternoon, boulevard newspaper BILD brought the news that Dest would be in the frame at Bayer Leverkusen. That news is confirmed a day later by Eindhovens Dagblad. 'Bayer Leverkusen shows interest in Sergiño Dest, but they are not the only ones following the PSV player', the regional newspaper writes. Bayer Leverkusen would be 'very taken' with the qualities of the wing-back defender who wants to leave PSV this summer.
Dest, however, enjoys more attention. It was already clear earlier that Dest is on the radar at FC Bayern München, something that was refuted by a transfer journalist linked to FC Bayern. “In the meantime, it is clear that clubs from the Premier League and the top of Serie A also have the American on their radar,” writes the Eindhovens Dagblad.
The regional newspaper also reports that no clubs have yet come forward with concrete interest in PSV for Dest, who is currently in the United States for the World Cup. Dest may leave for a limited transfer fee from PSV, which must hand over part of that sum to FC Barcelona. 'What the exact amount is that has been contractually agreed with Dest and his entourage is not known. It appears to be between 23 and 25 million euros,' according to Eindhovens Dagblad.

If Dest gaat, vind ik 23-25 miljoen niet gek, maar PSV moet het slim doen. Saibari werd wel snel afgerond door Leverkusen, dus nu hoop ik dat PSV niet nog te lang twijfelt.
"zeer gecharmeerd" is natuurlijk mooi, maar ik wil bedragen zien en papieren in plaats van interesse. Als het echt 23-25 miljoen lijkt, dan moet PSV dit als echte exit zien en niet weer laten rekken. Dest naar de Bundesliga is prima, maar alleen als die transfer ons direct versterkt.
"Bayer Leverkusen toont interesse in Sergiño Dest" is dus gewoon realiteit. Maar waarom wachten ze nog, als Dest weg wil en er wel een gelimiteerde som is? Dit ruikt naar onderhandelen tot PSV moet zakken.
Leverkusen weer achter Dest aan, en nu zelfs PL en top Serie A erbij... idk wat PSV wil doen qua planning, want dit voelt als verkoopstress. De vraag is wie dan het rechtback gat vult.
Leverkusen weer op de deur klopt, lol. Dest voor 23-25 miljoen zou voor PSV wel zuur zijn maar ook slim als we Saibari-achtige cash kunnen herinvesteren. Toch hoop ik dat Bayern of een PL-club eindelijk wél concrete stappen zet en dat Barca-aandeel niet te gek wordt.
23-25 miljoen for Dest, echt? Als dat klopt dan is het best oké, maar alleen als we meteen een echte vervanger hebben. 🐐⚽
