Transfer newsFormer PSV defender to Valencia CF
1 min readFrom 2019 to 2021, defender Justin de Haas played two seasons at PSV, where De Haas was mainly active for Jong PSV. The defender was once on the bench with PSV’s first team, but an official debut never came for De Haas.
In 2021, PSV decided to loan the defender to the reserve team of Croatian Dinamo Zagreb so that he could then move permanently to Croatia via Lokomotiva Zagreb. Through that club, De Haas ended up at FC Famalicão in Portugal in 2023.
The defender is now departing for Spanish club Valencia CF. This transfer was announced earlier this year and is now therefore officially completed.

Good move ngl, but it screams that PSV didnt have a pathway for him. If he becomes a starter in LaLiga, we can at least say it was worth the investment.
Valencia is a nice step for De Haas. Tbh PSV transfer feels a bit unlucky for him, since he mostly played for Jong PSV and never got that real chance with the first team.
