Correct: FC Bayern targets a second PSV player; a second top transfer seems to be in the works.
1 min readThe chance is high that Ismael Saibari will soon be allowed to call himself a player of FC Bayern München, since on Tuesday the news came out that Der Rekordmeister is willing to put a record sum on the table for Saibari. In addition, the German champions would also be interested in taking over another PSV player.
According to Eindhovens Dagblad, FC Bayern has also shown interest in taking Sergino Dest. Over the past few months, Dest has repeatedly expressed a desire to leave, and the ED reports that the Germans are interested in acquiring the American international. If PSV sell Saibari and then Bayern wants to sell a player first, that might actually slow it down. Still, Dest is too talented to ignore, and 20-25m is the kind of number that makes clubs say yes fast 🔥
tbh i think Bayern are right to press now. Dest has World Cup momentum and PSV will be forced to listen if the fee is serious. question is whether PSV can reinvest quickly instead of going for another short-term fix 👀
If Dest echt 20-25 miljoen moet opleveren, dan is het best te verdedigen. But Bayern interesse betekent dat Ten Hag-achtig is vervangen, we moeten vooral vervanging die direct kan spelen. 👀
If Bayern is offering record money for Saibari, PSV should already have a plan for Dest. I want PSV to demand proper fees and add-ons, not "expectations" and hope. Otherwise this turns into a L for both salary and squad depth. 💀

Bayern buying 2 PSV dudes is peak behavior lol. Saibari gaat sowieso lastig worden, en Dest lijkt al te rekenen op een transfer. Hopelijk is PSV voor die tijd niet alleen "ready", maar ook echt agressief in de markt.

20-25 miljoen voor Dest... dat is wel echt een bedrag om iets terug te bouwen. Maar als Bayern eerst een speler wil verkopen en pas daarna toehapt, dan kan PSV ook nog slim onderhandelen. Lets go, dont laat ze je duimzuigen op de prijs.
€20-25m voor Dest als dat klopt... 💯 dat is niet niks. Toch zou ik liever zien dat we het geld investeren in een rechtsback die meteen L1 niveau haalt, geen tijdelijke oplossing.
Dest wanting to leave was obvious, but still... selling both in one window would be a tactical gut punch. If PSV get only one proper replacement, that right side is gonna struggle defensively.
Dest die uitgesproken heeft over een vertrekwens en dan nu ineens interesse uit Duitsland... 🤡 tbh klinkt dit als druk zetten vanaf de kant. Ik hoop dat PSV tenminste tot het einde van het toernooi wacht, anders verlies je focus.
tbh Bayern wacht eerst op een verkoop na Saibari, dus Dest lijkt me pas na het WK te gaan knallen. i feel like we keep him for now, unless PSV capitulates.
Bayern wil eerst verkopen voordat ze instappen, prima. Maar ik ben bang dat wij weer moeten wachten op de "entourage"-belletjes en ondertussen Saibari ook kwijt raken in de zomer. Wie zou Dest dan moeten vervangen, want die combinatie snelheid en 1-tegen-1 is lastig te kopieren.
Dest naar Bayern is wel logisch als hij al "vertrekwens" uitte maar man, PSV kan dit echt niet zomaar missen. 20-25 miljoen is oké, maar waar halen we dan die tempo en 1-op-1 terug?
