A departure seems imminent after the ‘number of clubs interested’, millions in profit beckon for PSV

A step within the Eredivisie beckons, but a step to, for example, Club Brugge has also become thinkable. The Belgian top club appears to have its sights set on Couhaib Driouech, who this summer certainly doesn’t have to leave PSV, but will be working with Ruben van Bommel.

Ruben van Bommel will still need a few months, but will normally start leading PSV back to assists and goals again in October or November. That will have possible consequences for Couhaib Driouech, who still had a very good season last season. We can see that, for example, in his figures and statistics.

According to Eindhovens Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink, there is now a great deal of interest in Driouech. The 24-year-old Moroccan player has not yet managed to secure a starting spot after his transfer from Excelsior in 2024, but he is also not too far from it.

'For Driouech there is a lot of interest, but concretely at PSV there is zero,' the situation is outlined. Although the interest is not yet concrete, an in-country transfer already seems to be ruled out for now. PSV would expect to receive 'good money,' which would make a move to the Dutch subtop 'challenging,' it says about Couhaib Driouech. Still, the attacker has to generate millions of euros.

Especially in the Champions League, he was of value. In seven matches, six of which as a substitute, he managed to score three times and provide two assists. Two of his goals came in the historic 1-4 victory of PSV over Anfield against Liverpool, but also at the Philips Stadium against Napoli he found the net. He also scored a rather fine goal at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal.

A transfer then also seems imminent given his comments from a few weeks ago. "I've come to the point where I know I can and I really want to show it. If it's not here, it should be somewhere else, but I also wouldn't be afraid to take on a new challenge", Driouech said about his future.

PSV is going to make a multi-million profit from a transfer because Driouech was taken over by Excelsior for a little under three million euros, where in 2026 at least 7 to 9, or perhaps 10 million euros, will have to be put on the table for Driouech.

Im not convinced by the wing setup. When the fullbacks dont pinch in early, the build-up turns into a slow pass around the box and then we hope for something magic.

That midfield balance is gonna decide it. If PSV keep KdB so high and lets it get chaotic behind, we will suffer. 👀
