New PSV away shirt 2026-2027: 'Vincent van Gogh shirt'
1 min readThe 2026/2027 season is just around the corner and that also includes a new away kit. Last month, the typically reliable website Footy Headlines leaked that PSV’s new away shirt will be white with various colors worked in.
However, other creations are also going around on social media. PSV announced the unveiling of the new away kit in recent days. June 16 will see the launch of the new away kit, and the first images look promising. As mentioned, there will be different creations circulating, but it seems it will be a particularly distinctive and artistic shirt. After seeing the first creations, PSV fans are referring to Vincent van Gogh. 'A Vincent van Gogh shirt,' people are saying on social media.
In any case, the new away shirt for the 2026-2027 season seems to be called artistic and special. On Tuesday, June 16, PSV will officially unveil the new away kit. In the city center of Eindhoven, billboards are also hanging with this date and with the colors orange, purple and pink that will be incorporated into the new shirt.

I actually like the idea of rotating the front, but the transition moments looked messy. We need a clear trigger, who presses, who covers, because right now its chaotic. ⚽
I disagree with the idea that the game plan is fine just because it looks good for 20 minutes. Defensively PSV still invite trouble in transition, and it showed more than once.
🔥 That press was a thing of beauty. If they can keep winning the second ball, teams will start to panic.
Tbh i like the intent but the spacing was off at times. When Gakpo drifts, someone has to pin the fullback, or we end up recycling the ball under pressure.
If we keep leaving space behind the fullbacks, the whole tactical plan collapses. Midfield needs to stagger better, otherwise itll be another late-game scramble. 🤬
That quote about being "more brave in possession" is exactly what worries me. Brave is good, but dont lose the ball in dangerous areas, especially against teams that counter fast. 👀
If PSV keep playing like this in possession, that midfield has to be sharper. Sangare and Tillman both need to offer themselves earlier, otherwise the build-up gets predictable.
So PSV's pressing is still the main weapon, but when the buildup goes long it feels like we invite trouble. I want to see more tempo through the middle, not just sideways passes and hope.
