Home kit 2026/2027 released, fans react
1 min readPSV has officially introduced the home kit for the 2026/2027 season. Earlier this week, a photo had already appeared via the social media platform X, where the shirt was possibly leaked, and now the club has definitively revealed the kit.
In the past few days, supporters responded in various ways to the new shirt. Clothing sponsor Puma, since 1 July 2020 the clothing sponsor as a successor to Umbro, was also thrown into the mud by some supporters.
Through a video that includes, among other things, Robbie van de Graaf, who was featured this week in the new shirt, the past three seasons are revisited in which the league title was won each time. Even that photo, ironically enough, comes back in the video.
In addition to the red-and-white shirt, PSV will play with a black pair of trousers and white socks with red stripes. Unlike in recent days, there is now mainly a positive response to the new kit.

A selection of reactions on the social media platform X:

The quote about "keeping it simple in transition" sounds good, but PSV always seem one touch away from losing it. Against quicker wingers, that one slip becomes a goal. 💀
If the article is right about the double pivot being tighter, fair play. That can protect the backline and let our 8s arrive more freely. Still, we need one real vertical ball, not just safe circulation. 💯
Xavi Simons looked sharp on the half-turn, but i still want more directness early. too many touches to set up the same pass, and you can feel teams like Feyenoord will wait and step in. 🔥
I like the energy from Luuk, but he still looks a bit late to the second balls. Against a press it turns into too many headless clearances, imo. 😅
"PSV Inside" talking about the tactical setup and im already worried about the fullback spaces. when the winger tugs inside, the runner outside has to be ready or its gonna be a long night. 🙄
If PSV go back to a mid-block again, teams will just pin Tillman and overload the half-spaces. Need better cover behind the first line, otherwise it gets ugly fast. 👀
ngl if PSV are playing that high press again, it better come with clean transitions. if we lose the ball in midfield, Ajax-style counters will punish us fast. 👀
