PSV target definitively to Germany
1 min readDespite interest from PSV, Nathan De Cat leaves RSC Anderlecht definitively for TSG Hoffenheim. The Belgians have announced this.
The seventeen-year-old De Cat leaves for the Bundesliga for an amount of just over 24 million euros. Last season, the midfielder was a regular starter for the club from Brussels, where he went through almost his entire youth academy.
In addition, the talent also made his debut for the national team of Belgium. Despite all the alleged interest, it is ultimately Hoffenheim that gets the Belgian through.
In recent days, various media have already reported that De Cat would be heading to Hoffenheim, and negotiations were the only thing still underway regarding the transfer fee. Now that has also been settled, the Belgian can finally call himself a Hoffenheim player.

Besides the young Belgian, Hoffenheim was also interested in Kodai Sano from NEC and likewise a transfer target for PSV. Now De Cat leaves for Germany, the chance exists that Sano will not leave for Hoffenheim.
Nathan De Cat trekt naar Hoffenheim. Le milieu de 17 ans devient ainsi le troisième plus gros transfert sortant de l'histoire du RSC Anderlecht. Veel succes in de Bundesliga, ket. 💜 pic.twitter.com/CxX5Ha3cyN

I think the biggest difference will be how the fullbacks time their overlaps. When they go early, you get chaos in the box, when they wait too long it becomes predictable. ⚽💯
"keep it simple in possession" - ok but dont park the bus either. Need faster decision-making from the 8 when the press comes. 🔥
Goal!! 👏 But ngl the defending on the second phase looked shaky. Clean it up and we are flying 🔥
Goal!! the way they overloaded that side was clean. Lets be real though, we need the final pass to be sharper, not just the build-up. 🚀
That quote about keeping the tempo high is all good, but it depends on turnovers. If we lose the ball around midfield too often, the plan collapses fast. 💀
tbh, im not fully sold on the back line yet. Against quick counters, it looks shaky, and you cant afford that in Europe. 🥲
"inside" tactics look nice on paper, but if the fullbacks dont stay brave, Timber and Sangare will have to do even more defensive work. Also, give Veerman freedom earlier pls, he can carry that tempo 🚀
If PSV start pressing like that, i think it frees up space for the wide guys. But if the midfield gets bypassed once, they will be chasing all game. 👀
If PSV keep starting like this, the press will win them the game. But i need the midfield to protect the space between the lines, or it will get punished.
