PSV sees a future in Lutsharel Geertruida

Slowly but surely, the summer transfer window seems to be starting for PSV as well. Starting in the sense that the club’s management is trying to identify the desired and necessary investments for this summer.

To that end, it has also aimed its sights on Leipzig, where Lutsharel Geertruida is under contract after a number of good years at Feyenoord. Whether it is wise to pull in Feyenoord again, once more, is a question that can be considered justified. Rick Karsdorp and earlier Tyrell Malacia, for their part, turned out not to be a success, although there were valid reasons.

PSV sees at least a future for Lutsharel Geertruida. This is reported by Rik Elfrink of Eindhovens Dagblad. The PSV watcher for the regional newspaper regularly writes about the fact that over the coming summer the necessary reinforcements for the wings must be brought in. Geertruida therefore seems to be a candidate.

Besides Anass Salah-Eddine, Sergiño Dest will probably also leave PSV this summer, although for Dest the actual interest still has to really start to emerge. “It is also notable that the club has sometimes cast a line for the services of former Feyenoord player Geertruida, but at the moment there is nothing that even points to a (loan) deal,” the Eindhoven newspaper reports about Geertruida.

According to the journalist, Geertruida is currently weighing his options, but after a multi-million salary at Red Leipzig, a multi-million salary in the Premier League is more realistic than a more modest multi-million salary in the Eredivisie. Premier League club Sunderland is currently already eyeing the defender from Red Bull Leipzig.
