No new contract for the attacker
1 min readDespite the fact that Myron Boadu traveled with PSV on a training camp to Germany, the striker may now look forward to a new club. This has been made known by technical director Earnest Stewart to the Eindhovens Dagblad.
Boadu came on loan last season to PSV after Alassane Pléa suffered a serious injury in the away match against FC Twente (0-2) on 17 August 2025. However, the loaned striker couldn’t make much of an impact in Eindhoven, partly due to a number of injuries.
The striker has been a free agent since 1 July and had hoped for a new offer from the club’s management at PSV. However, this does not appear to be the plan.
''It is not currently in the plans that we will also add Boadu to the squad. I also can't make any commitment about that'', Stewart says to the ED about the striker.
Despite this, Boadu does train with the selection of Peter Bosz. ''Of course he may keep his condition up to standard with us and possibly look at another club. We can't have three people for every position on board and sometimes we resolve things within our own selection,'' said the technical director.

Jammer, maar ook logisch. Met blessures vorig seizoen was het moeilijk om ritme te pakken. Wel kijk ik uit wat Peter Bosz ermee doet in de training, want hij laat hem dus niet voor niets meelopen.
"Ik kan daar ook geen toezegging over doen" is zo'n typische TD-zin. Snap dat ze budget willen sparen, maar persoonlijk had ik Boadu nog wel een korte doorontwikkeling gegund na zn huurlijn.
0-2 tegen Twente, Pléa geblesseerd, toen was Boadu een oplossing... en nu is het toch te dun. 💀👀 Bosz moet doorgaan op het plan, niet op nostalgie.
Training mee laten lopen is prima, maar ik wil gewoon geen situatie waarin een spits maanden 'op peil houdt' en verder niks. Als er een betere aanbieding komt voor Boadu, dan is het waarschijnlijk het juiste moment om te vertrekken.
'Het zit nu niet in de planning...' echt klassiek PSV, schuif niet nog een spits in de selectie. Hopelijk betekent dit dat ze achterin of op de 10 wél gaan investeren en niet weer gokken op een randje.
Tbh dit voelt als de bevestiging dat Boadu een plan-B was, maar nooit echt Plan-A kon worden. Als Stewart zegt dat het niet in de planning zit, dan is het eigenlijk al klaar.
Tbh snap ik de keuze wel. Als Boadu sinds 1 juli transfervrij is en ze doen toch niks, dan moet Bosz echt prioriteit geven aan spelers die meteen rendement leveren. Met blessures vorig seizoen echt te weinig gezien.
