He just really wants to stay at PSV.
1 min readLast season, striker Myron Boadu was loaned to PSV after signing Alassane Pléa suffered a serious injury in the second league match and was ruled out for the rest of the season. Boadu did not fully come through at PSV due to injuries, and the striker also has a contract that is running out.
Despite this, the attacker is currently still training normally with PSV for their preparations for the 2026/2027 season. Moreover, the striker would like to stay at PSV as well; the Eindhoven Dagblad reports, citing Boadu, who is doing great and is enjoying his time at PSV.
PSV decided, however, not to extend Boadu's contract, which means he is now a free agent. To keep his condition at the right level, the striker will continue training with Peter Bosz's squad for the time being.
In addition, the striker hopes that PSV will still come to him with a new contract. In that regard, the ED reports that it will most likely be a one-year contract.

At this moment, PSV only has Ricardo Pepi and Alassane Pléa as genuine strikers at its disposal. Pepi is currently enjoying a holiday since the American was eliminated earlier this week at the World Cup.

"PSV Inside" mentioning the pressing triggers made me agree. When we jump on the first bad touch, we look like a machine. When we wait half a second too long, its instantly panic.
Im not convinced by the wide player instructions. When the fullback overlaps, the winger sometimes tucks in and we lose width, then opponents just sit and counter. Coaching tweaks needed. 🤡
Bruno Martins coming up with the tempo changes was actually huge, thats the difference maker 💯. If we keep that going and dont rush the passes, we can punish any high line. Lets go, PSV ⚽🔥
Wie kijkt mee? 🔥
Goal threat was definitely there, but the final pass is still slightly rushed... once we calm it down, this team looks scary. 👀🚀
That midfield choice is worrying me, tbh. If Sangare is on the bench, whats the plan to win second balls? We cant keep gifting transitions.
"PSV Inside" talks like we are dominating, but the moment we lose the second ball, its chaos 😅. Also, why do we keep taking too long on the ball when the press is on? Need quicker decisions in the final third.
If PSV were serious about pressing high, theyve got to tighten the midfield distances. Watching the build-up, it looked like we let teams turn too easily.
That midfield shape looks promising, but i still think we need more energy from the 8. If the article is right about the build-up, then our fullbacks have to stay braver going forward. Otherwise it gets predictable fast.
