ED reveals more details regarding the transfer of PSV player: ‘An amount that is hard to refuse’
1 min readOver the past and a half weeks, the upcoming transfer of Ismael Saibari to FC Bayern München has been in the news frequently. Saibari is currently preparing for the 2026 World Cup with Morocco following a strong season with PSV, and next season he will no longer be seen in the PSV shirt.
Eindhovens Dagblad reports that a summit meeting took place this week between the PSV delegation and that of Germany’s great power. Saibari's agent, Ali Dursun, is also said to have been present at this meeting.
''In the past, he has already guided many major transfers and has a good relationship with the clubs'', the ED writes about Dursun. Der Rekordmeister is reportedly willing to put down at least fifty million euros for the midfielder.
PSV is aiming for a sum of at least 53 million euros including bonuses, which means the amount could increase even further. ''One thing is certain: all parties want the deal. PSV is counting on a little more than the 53 million euros, including bonuses, that Bayern has promised. In addition, the amounts must be paid in the way that PSV wants'', the newspaper writes about it.

Both clubs do plan to finalize the deal only after June 30, when the 2026/2027 season officially gets underway. ''In total, a fixed amount of 48 million euros and a bonus of 5 million euros were promised. The latter amount can only be earned by PSV if a number of conditions are met. In any case, there is already an absolute transfer record in place and there are amounts on the table that seem difficult for PSV to refuse,'' concludes the ED.

"higher press" sounds great, until the opponent plays one-touch through you. If PSV keeps the press, they must commit to winning the duels, not half-pressing... one step late and its instant danger 💀
"PSV Inside" zegt het al, maar ik wil gewoon weten of die omschakeling echt klopt. Als de backs te hoog staan en de middenas niet dichtzet, dan loeren counters van de tegenstander altijd... ⚽
I actually disagree on the defensive phase. The article highlights structure, but last games showed we lose shape after the second ball. We need tighter distances behind the first press, otherwise it turns into damage control 🤬
Als PSV zo gaat spelen met veel druk op de bal, dan gaat het echt pijn doen. Maar ik ben wel benieuwd wie de tweede bal pakt, want daar vallen we dit seizoen soms nog slordig.
Eens. When the ball hits the final third quicker, our front line looks twice as dangerous. Let's hope the manager sticks to that tempo and doesnt slow it down 💯
Im not fully convinced by the rotation talk. If Tilman starts drifting inside too much, Luukx's side gets crowded and then our build up gets messy. Need a cleaner balance, fr 👀
"PSV Inside" makes it sound so simple, but we still get exposed on the counter. The article mentions the wing runs, yet our fullbacks leave gaps sometimes, like come on 😅
Tbh the way PSV pressed higher in the article felt like the right call. If they keep forcing turnovers in midfield with Veerman and Tillman linked up, we will cook 🔥⚽
