It may be clear that a busy transfer summer is in store for PSV. Ismael Saibari seems likely to be on his way to FC Bayern Munich and Anass Salah-Eddine returns to AS Roma to fight for his chance in Rome.

In addition, the question remains whether Sergino Dest and Ricardo Pepi will leave PSV after the World Cup. Defender Kiliann Sildillia has also reportedly been of interest to the French club RC Lens since last winter.

Despite this, PSV watcher from Eindhovens Dagblad expects that Sildillia will simply remain with PSV. Last summer, PSV took over the Frenchman from German club SC Freiburg.

''There could be interest in Sildillia. He was already under consideration at Lens in the winter. I think PSV would ultimately like to keep him as a back-up. Then he just has to fight for a starting spot. This season, he has had that fairly regularly,'' says Elfrink in the podcast Heet van de Herdgang of the ED.

This season, the French defender had to keep Sergino Dest in check at right-back above all. In the final months of the season, Sildillia came on more often partly due to a Dest injury and also managed to score twice.

According to the journalist, PSV has a decent winger defender in the Frenchman. ''But according to me, there aren't that many better full-backs in the Eredivisie to be found. I think that really isn't that much better. He did play a bad match, his last match. That tends to linger in the memory a bit. But he has also played a number of good matches,'' said Elfrink.
